Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Pediatric

$2325.60/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care in a Medical-Surgical unit specializing in adult and pediatric patients. This role requires flexibility, clinical expertise, and adherence to staffing standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to adult and pediatric patients on a 20-bed unit.

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes.

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

• Support and participate in unit staffing, float responsibilities, and clinic coverage as needed.

• Attend staff meetings and complete required orientation to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid State Nursing License with Registered Nurse credentials.

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of med-surg experience, including 1 year in pediatrics.

• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications per American Heart Association.

• Be comfortable managing both adult and pediatric patient populations.

• Demonstrate excellent communication, clinical judgment, and adaptability skills.
