Server Position at Dockside Pub Swampscott

Dockside Pub Swampscott is looking for a server with two years of experience and who enjoys working in an exciting, fast-paced environment. Servers consistently provide an excellent guest experience to every single person who comes into Dockside Pub Swampscott.

Job Duties:

• Greet guests in a friendly, positive manner and make them feel at home.
• Exhibit selling techniques with proper knowledge, and service delivery of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Utilize silent service approach and maintain a clean environment.
• Itemize bills correctly and secure payment as required.
• Bid guests farewell by using guest's name when known, and inviting them to come back.
• Replace inserts, clean menu covers, and maintain professional appearance of the area.
• Answer telephones in service areas.
• Maintain clean environment.
• Maintain high level of professionalism that will attract guests to want to return to the property.
• Respond appropriately to guest needs and do so with a sense of urgency.
• Performs other job related responsibilities when assigned.
• Direct calls where necessary.

Requirements:

• Two years of experience
• Customer service oriented
• TIPs certified and allergen awareness certificate
• POS experience
• Bar knowledge considered an asset
• Teamwork and a great attitude are required!
• Must have flexible availability – weekends & holidays required
• Ability to keep work area clean, organized and to code
• Previous high volume experience preferred
