About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years in CVICU or similar settings License: Required Certifications: PALS, BLS Must-Have: - Experience with critical care of children and adults with congenital heart disease - Weekend commitment: 3 of 6 weekends - Ability to float to different ICUs if necessary - Experience in Pediatric CVICU, Pediatric Step Down, or PICU Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in CVICU or equivalent settings. First-time travelers are not accepted. The nurse will be required to complete a weekend commitment of 3 out of 6 weekends. Certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) are required. The nurse must have experience with critical care for patients with congenital heart disease. The role includes the possibility of floating to other ICUs as needed. This is a 50/50 rotation of day and night shifts. The position requires verified professional references from two of the last three places worked, ensuring references are from different facilities. Detailed knowledge of congenital heart disease is essential for candidates. Please note that local candidates may be accepted at a lower rate. The successful applicant must possess a permanent nursing license. Travel experience is required for this position. The role does not require on-call duties.
