Title
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule
Rotating 12 hours: 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am
24-36 hours/week
Every 3rd Weekend

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 24-36 hours/week

Requirements
- 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience
- High Risk Labor and Delivery experience
- Fetal Monitoring experience
- Antepartum experience
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- NRP certification
- Experience with newborn, adolescent, and adult populations
- Epic experience

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide holistic care to patients and families in the Labor and Delivery setting.
- Perform assessments, nursing diagnoses, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Develop and revise patient care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Delegate appropriate nursing duties to other healthcare team members as needed.
- Participate actively in improving practice standards and the care environment to enhance patient experiences.
- Maintain adherence to nursing standards and competencies specific to the assigned service area.

Compliance / Notes
- Will accept a temporary state RN license for submission.
- All RTO requests must be included at the time of submittal; requests may not be honored after submission.
