We’re looking for an outgoing, motivated team player to join our Fall River Pawnbroker & Jewelry at our Newport store as a Pawnbroker / Sales Associate!
Do you enjoy working with people, learning something new every day, and finding creative solutions? In this role, you’ll help customers with loans, sales, and purchases—while building your skills in sales, negotiation, and customer service.
What’s in it for you?
• Competitive base pay plus weekly sales commissions
• Full benefits package (health, dental, vision, retirement, etc.)
• Paid training and ongoing coaching
• Opportunities for career growth with a large, established company
Whether you’re starting your career, making a career change, or simply looking for a workplace where you can learn and grow, this could be the perfect fit. If you’re coachable, confident, and curious, we’d love to meet you.
Bring your energy, and we’ll provide the tools for success. Apply today and let’s see where your story goes!
Responsibilities:
• Welcome and assist customers with loans, purchases, and sales
• Build relationships and provide excellent service to new and returning customers
• Help customers understand product options and make confident decisions
• Meet store sales and service goals with support from your team
• Accurately handle cash and transactions
• Keep the sales floor engaging by showcasing and demonstrating products along with other actions around the store as needed
Qualifications:
• Experience in customer service, retail, or sales (preferred but not required—training provided)
• Friendly, approachable, and able to connect with people from all walks of life
• Confidence in negotiating and problem-solving
• Motivated to reach goals while always putting the customer first
• Comfortable handling cash and doing basic math
