Department Supervisor

Overview As a Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Profit goals in the store by executing a plan to deliver the Best Customer Experience in the department and overall store. The Department Supervisor will work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues. Responsibilities Support the total Omni customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to global guidelines. Represent the H&M brand positively during customer interactions. Be aware of and take responsibility for your department\'s strengths and identify commercial opportunities, then act on them with your Department Manager. Ensure customer service is provided in all areas of the store and that your team has the ability to work towards actively promoting and selling products to customers. Promote our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives with your team. Ensure correct routines in fitting rooms and at checkout, including transactions, returns and exchanges. Ensure all admin routines for both people and operations are handled correctly. Fashion & Trend Awareness Keep up-to-date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, brands, products, competitors and relevant influencers. Ensure your team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions. Team & Development Retain and share knowledge and skills with the store team. Collaborate and plan with the in-store Visual Merchandiser team. Give and receive feedback to learn, develop and support each other. Communicate regularly with store colleagues to inform, motivate and inspire – daily and weekly. Ensure all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store are followed. Retail Operations/ Visual & Commercial Execution Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, including stockroom areas. Deliver high fashion quality, visual and commercial product presentation, with proper garment care. Maintain stock levels and provide input on allocation to the Area team. Manage the full garment cycle from delivery to presentation, and uphold fitting room routines according to internal standards and tools. Maintain in-store OMNI Services and in-store tech services/tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.). Maintain price signs in-store and across the sales floor following global and local guidelines to ensure a strong price perception. Update and maintain BOH areas with key information and safety guidelines. Open and close the store daily.
