Job Summary and Responsibilities

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) is seeking a talented Breast Surgeon to join our growing team at Virginia Mason Medical Center (VMMC) campus in Seattle, WA. Our breast health program is one of the few in Washington state to maintain both accreditations.

Position highlights:

• Collegial group of specialists and supportive leadership team

• A weekly multidisciplinary tumor board providing recommendations for all new and postoperative patients
• Weekly Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Clinic for newly diagnosed patients
• Dedicated breast health team focused on nonsurgical patients in Breast Clinic
• Breast radiologists who perform mammography, ultrasound and MRI exams and core biopsies with each of the modalities
• Access to partial and whole breast radiation
• A reconstructive service with a full spectrum of patient choices
• Clinical research and trials available
• Epic EMR

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience post Fellowship preferred
• Medical Degree
• Board Certified
• Fellowship training with focus on Breast Surgery
• Unrestricted Washington State Medical License
• DEA with full prescriptive authority
