Our client, due to growth, is currently in search of a highly skilled and experienced KdB Developer to join their team on a contract basis in the UK. Specializing in delivering innovative solutions and technology-driven services to various sectors, including finance, our client values cutting-edge expertise.

As a KdB Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing KdB infrastructure to ensure seamless data processing, analysis, and reporting capabilities.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in KdB+ development.
• Experience in defining and implementing KdB+ architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver technical solutions adhering to standards and methodologies.
• Comprehensive understanding of developing and maintaining KdB+ solutions.
• Experience in delivering technical solutions within Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong leadership skills and adept decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in working and delivering solutions within Capital Markets/Investment Banking domains.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields; or equivalent practical experience.
• Substantial experience as a KdB Developer, preferably within the finance industry.
• Proficient in KdB+ programming language Q, and familiar with KdB tick architecture.
• Capable of designing and implementing high-performance, scalable, and fault-tolerant KdB solutions.
• Sound understanding of financial markets, trading systems, and associated data structures.
• Competence in data analysis, debugging, and performance tuning within a KDB environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for identifying and resolving complex technical issues.
