Sr. Clinical Specialist - Buffalo, NY

Abbott seeks a Senior Clinical Specialist for its Cardiac Rhythm Management division in Western, NY. The role provides clinical, engineering, sales, and technical support to physicians and healthcare professionals regarding cardiac arrhythmia treatment technologies, with 50% travel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical interface between medical community and business for CRM products
• Respond to technical and clinical inquiries from physicians, healthcare professionals, and field staff
• Develop and deliver training programs on cardiac rhythm management products
• Provide sales support including regional seminars, clinical studies, and new product in-service training
• Mentor less experienced clinical specialists and troubleshoot complex clinical problems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, related field, or equivalent healthcare experience
• 4+ years of related experience or accredited cardiac training program certification
• CRM product certifications required
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems and electrophysiology procedures
• Familiarity with catheterization lab and operating room protocols
• Strong written and verbal communication with excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency and ability to manage multiple assignments

Compensation: $78,000–$156,000 base
