Apply caulking, surface coatings, and perform minor cosmetic repairs as well as masking and pre-spray prep.Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed to ensure a smooth and clean finish. Disassemble and reassemble building components, including windows, doors, jams, etc.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in painting (preferred).At least 3 years experience as a Painter or Stainer or similar transferable experience in a related field.Ability to work on a team, willingness to learn new skills.Able to keep paint shop and tools neat, clean and organized.Preferred skills, but willing to train the right candidate:Proficient in the use of brushes and spray guns.Advanced knowledge of paint/stain types and application techniques.Familiar with a variety of wood types, stains, and finishing techniques; knowledgeable about factors that affect product quality outcomes.Perform heavy physical demands (i.e. lift and move doors that can weigh up to 100lbs occasionally, 50lbs frequently, and 20lbs constantly).Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.What we offer:Competitive pay starting at $21.00 per hour, with full-time work schedule Mon – Fri 6:30am– 3:00 pm.A safe and respectful workplace culture, on-the-job training, and advancement opportunities.Year-round work in a state-of-the-art paint shop and regular site work (interior)Paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, short and long-term disability, company-paid life insurance, and a 401k with company match.
