Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00 - 18:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: Critical care experience, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Surgery team. The facility is a 815-bed hospital recognized as one of the best in clinical quality over the years. It has received accolades for safety and nursing excellence. Our unit serves as a referral center for advanced surgical procedures. As the busiest robotic surgery program in the region, we offer state-of-the-art technology. The Registered Nurse will work closely with a supportive team, including management and clinical staff. The unit consists of 4 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1. Experience in critical care is essential, with preoperative experience preferred. Required skills include excellent documentation, critical thinking, and the ability to perform in high-acuity situations. Advanced skills include large-bore IV starts, medication administration, and assistance with procedures. The RN will help transport patients to the operating room, assist with induction and positioning, and skin preparation.
