Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality patient care and will work to support our growing community of patients and families.

Schedule

The position will require flexibility and commitment to work a schedule of five 8-hour shifts per week. Evening and weekend availability is required, with the potential for overtime as needed. Candidates with a preference for two 16-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and competent care to patients
• Administer medications and ensure treatments are given as prescribed
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and progress
• Assist registered nurses and physicians with patient care tasks
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate them about care plans
• Participate in care team meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license in the state of practice
• Strong clinical skills and a solid understanding of nursing practices
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to adjust to varying patient needs and work schedules
