Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in the region. This position involves providing patient care on a neuro-medical surgical unit with adult patients. The nurse will be responsible for caring for patients with diagnoses such as CVA, TIA, seizures, and respiratory conditions, demonstrating competence in dysrhythmia management. The role requires flexibility to work all shift times, including days, nights, and mids, with a focus on delivering quality care in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/08/2026 to 12/08/2026. Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, NIH and Swallow Screen certifications preferred, 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing, neuro experience ideal. Preferred Qualifications: Neuro specialty experience, familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system. Float: Float rotation may be required. Additional Information: Candidate must have complete and clear screenings including Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting (within last two years or completed before start), and PA State Police Clearance. Candidate must be able and willing to work holidays as scheduled. Must be competent in dysrhythmia interpretation and pass a dysrhythmia and math dosage test on day one of orientation. Orientation sessions are held weekly on Mondays and will include all necessary facility education to be completed during the orientation period.
