Job Title - Graduate Research Assistant

Department Name - CANCER CENTER-CORE SUPPORT

Work Location - Lexington, KY

Salary Range - 34,230-34,730

Type of Position - Student

Position Time Status - Part-Time

Required Education - A Doctoral student in public health, sociology, psychology or similar field preferred

Required Related Experience - Microsoft Office Suite, REDCap, CANVAS, EndNote

Physical Requirements - Sitting at computer work station for long periods of time. Repetitive motion.

Shift - Monday-Friday, specific schedule to TBD

Job Summary - We are seeking a Doctoral student to work up to 20 hours a week. Looking for experience in conducting literature reviews, assisting with research and evaluation activities, such as the development of REDCap survey instruments, data collection, coding qualitative data in interview transcripts, assisting with qualitative data analysis, and contributing to the preparation of presentations, reports, and manuscripts.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities - REDCap, data collection, qualitative data analysis, preparing manuscripts, literature reviews

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? - No

Preferred Education/Experience - A Doctoral student in public health, sociology, psychology or similar field, REDCap, data collection, coding qualitative data, literature reviews, manuscript writing preferred.
