Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on aluminum and steel materials according to specifications and drawings.
- Fabricate, fit, and assemble custom metal components and structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders.
- Measure, cut, grind, fit, and prepare materials for welding.
- Set up and operate TIG welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Clean and prepare workpieces by removing rust, grease, slag, and other contaminants.
- Lift, position, hold, and clamp parts in fixtures, jigs, or workstations for welding and assembly.
- Inspect completed welds for quality, appearance, and conformance to specifications.
- Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, saws, drills, and other shop tools.
- Move materials and finished products using hand tools, carts, hoists, and cranes as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and quality standards.
