Industrial Instrument/Electrical Technician – Lead

King County's Wastewater Treatment Division has an immediate need for an Industrial Instrument and Electrical Lead at the South Treatment Plant. If you've been part of an Instrumentation and Electrical Team and are looking to grow and develop into a future leader, this position may be for you. This entry level leadership position will help guide and lead a combined shop of Instrument Technicians. You'll have the opportunity to use and expand your leadership and technical skills while continuing to grow within King County's Wastewater Treatment Division O&M. As a mission critical employee for King County, our efforts directly support operations as we collaborate with other crafts and work groups to resolve plant issues and achieve common goals. The responsibilities of this classification include overseeing and directing the technical work of employees performing instrumentation and control work in a wastewater treatment plant and associated facilities. Incumbents perform specific instrumentation and/or electrical duties and responsibilities and are considered working technical leads. This position will be primarily responsible for coordinating and scheduling work activities for the Instrument side of the Team and working with the other Lead to guide the overall Instrumentation and Electrical Team. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to use and expand your leadership skills, all while continuing to grow in the instrumentation and electrical fields. This role will be involved in a variety of large- and small-scale plant reliability improvement projects.
