Facility: The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing at Pawling (Duchess County, NY) Position Type: Full-Time Location: $65,000.00 to $78,000.00 (with benefits; negotiable) Position Overview The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing at Pawling is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide resident-centered nutritional care in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. This role is ideal for an RD who values interdisciplinary collaboration, clinical nutrition, and improving quality of life for residents. Key Responsibilities Nutrition Assessment & Planning Conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans Monitor intake, weight trends, and clinical outcomes Modify dietary plans based on medical conditions and resident needs Meal Planning & Dietary Oversight Develop and oversee therapeutic and balanced meal plans Ensure diets align with physician orders and resident preferences Maintain consistency across all dietary programs Education & Collaboration Educate residents, families, and staff on nutrition and wellness Collaborate with nursing, providers, and interdisciplinary teams Provide guidance and training to dietary and kitchen staff Compliance & Documentation Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Maintain accurate nutrition-related documentation Support survey readiness and quality improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field Current Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required Minimum 2 years of dietitian experience (long-term care or healthcare preferred) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team What We Offer Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits package, including: 401(k) with partial company match Generous paid time off (PTO) Medical, vision, and dental insurance Tuition reimbursement & continuing education Career growth and professional development Supportive leadership and collaborative work environment Employee discounts and exclusive perks Apply Today Apply online to join The Grand Healthcare team at Pawling.
