Tender Smiles 4 Kids of Monmouth is looking for a skilled and compassionate RDA Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team in Freehold, NJ! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fun, kid-friendly environment where you'll play a key role in helping young patients achieve beautiful, confident smiles. Responsibilities:
- Assist orthodontist chairside during patient exams, adjustments, and orthodontic procedures
- Place and remove orthodontic brackets, bands, wires, and elastics under orthodontist supervision
- Take and process dental X-rays, photographs, and impressions/digital scans
- Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic appliance care
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for each patient appointment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment documentation
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment per infection control protocols
- Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the state of New Jersey
- Prior orthodontic assisting experience preferred
- Familiarity with orthodontic appliances, banding, and bonding procedures
- Current X-ray certification required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with children and parents
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume pediatric/orthodontic setting
- Positive, patient, and team-oriented attitude

We are passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment where kids feel comfortable and families trust us with their children's smiles. Our team is driven by a shared commitment to exceptional care, and we love coming to work every day knowing we're making a difference in our patients' lives. Tuesdays and Fridays 9:00 to 6:00 (some days will start at 10:00am)$500.00 Signing Bonus after 6 months of employment.
