Caregiver (CNA/Experienced Caregiver) – Granbury, TX

BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client in the Granbury area.

Schedule:

• PRN/Flexible scheduling (hours to be discussed during the interview)

Responsibilities:

• Assist with transfers using a Hoyer lift
• Provide toileting and personal care assistance
• Support activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Monitor and report changes in the client's condition
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment

Client Needs:

• Experience caring for clients with dementia or cognitive impairment is highly preferred.
• The client can become emotionally distressed and agitated, so patience, compassion, and strong de-escalation skills are essential.
• Caregivers must be comfortable providing total care and assisting with mobility.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
• Hoyer lift experience required
• Dementia care experience strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
• CPR certification preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
