Location: USA – Braselton, Broadway Boulevard Division: Solutions Job Posting Title: Forklift Driver 1st, 2nd, Weekend Time Type: Full Time SUMMARY The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating power industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The operator ensures safe and efficient vehicle operation and may perform Order Filler and Checker duties. Responsibilities include accurate storing, shipping, and receiving of products to meet company safety, security, and productivity standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Receiving/Put‑Away: Unload inbound shipments safely, move product to storage locations, and input data accurately into WMS. Efficiently stack and store product in appropriate areas. Maintain an organized work area. Order Picking: Pull and prepare for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties efficiently to meet customer service standards. Prepare freight for operations accurately and in a timely manner. Quality: Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; report quality variances. Delivery: Move product from staging and/or storage to production lines and/or staging docks; attach proper documentation to freight. Inventory: Keep accurate records and reports to maintain tight inventory control and security; assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation. Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance: Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area, assist in warehouse security, and comply with all standard operating procedures, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS standards; participate in safety meetings. Equipment Operation: Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, drum attachment, or other power equipment; maintain equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion; inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment daily; operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods. Maintain an active forklift certification. Maintenance: Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned. Other Duties: Change forklift fuel tanks as needed, participate in physical inventories, perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking; repair pallets, trailers, and truck bays; help maintain a clean, safe work environment; perform other duties as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High‑school diploma or GED. At least 6 months of experience working in a logistics, distribution, or related environment. Ability to operate material handling equipment (MHE). Completion of a forklift training program. Basic computer skills, RF scanner usage, and WMS functions. English proficiency (reading, writing, verbal). Basic to intermediate mathematical skills for verifying quantities and inventory calculations. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner. Ability to work with minimal supervision or guidance. Capacity to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast‑paced work environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1–2 years of experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment. 1–2 years of forklift experience. Current or prior MHE certification. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Employees use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch, and use computer and telephone equipment. Tasks require close and distant vision. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs following proper lifting procedures and stand on feet for up to 8 hours per day.
