Registered Nurse - Charge RN
This position involves working 3x12-hour night shifts, specifically from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required, with previous travel nursing experience preferred. The successful candidate will work in a 29-bed unit providing care for adult to geriatric patients, focusing on orthopedic and medical surgical patients. The unit also offers telemetry monitoring and has a physical therapy gym on-site for patient rehabilitation.
Care for a diverse patient population, including those undergoing total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties.
Provide support in charge nurse shifts as needed.
Manage and facilitate patient care activities, including telemetry monitoring and wound care.
Coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Administer medications and treatments as per clinical protocols.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
Charge Nurse experience is required.
Active RN license must be held at the time of submission.
BLS certification is required.
Prior experience with Epic charting system is necessary.
