Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,826 per week

Job Overview American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day‑shift assignment in a Respiratory/Neuro‑Diagnostics unit at a major medical center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Job ID: P-724937 Assignment Details Start date: 07/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 per week (3 × 12‑hour shifts) Shift schedule: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, days Every other weekend coverage required. Epic EMR experience preferred. Requirements Current RRT credential required. Active state RT license required if applicable. Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required. Experienced RTs only — new graduates will not be considered. First‑time travelers will be considered. Additional Information Candidates must reside 65 + miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted. In the event of a declared emergency, travelers may be assigned to an Emergency Team and expected to remain at the facility until the event has passed or serve as part of a relief team. By accepting a position, candidates acknowledge and agree to emergency team assignment expectations as directed by their unit manager. All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process. Compensation & Benefits Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
