Work Environment

The therapy team at Allied Physical Therapy operates in a vibrant and supportive rehabilitation center, which fosters teamwork and innovation. This onsite role also embraces a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' physical conditions upon their first visit, utilizing various assessment tools to inform treatment strategies.
• Develop personalized therapy plans that encompass immediate recovery goals and long-term rehabilitation strategies aimed at restoring functionality and improving quality of life.
• Implement a variety of treatment modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced techniques including ultrasound and electrical stimulation in alignment with evidence-based practice.
• Continuously monitor and assess patient progress, making adjustments to treatment regimens as necessary to ensure optimal recovery trajectories.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment processes, and ongoing prevention strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their healing journey.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment sessions, and progress notes, adhering to both clinic and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in care planning and case discussions to ensure comprehensive management of patient health.
• Foster strong therapeutic relationships with patients to promote motivation and confidence throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The diverse patient population you will engage with includes individuals recovering from acute injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic pain conditions. Our center serves a broad demographic, from children with developmental challenges to adults and seniors facing mobility issues or post-operative recovery. This variety allows our therapists to continuously develop their skills and adapt their approaches for different ages and conditions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Possession of a valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligibility for licensure within the state of California.
• A strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology relevant to physical rehabilitation practices.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for engaging with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in a rehabilitation or acute care environment.
• Prior experience with pediatric therapy or specialized modalities is advantageous, but not a requirement.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for our Physical Therapist ranges from $110,000 to $125,000 annually, inclusive of a comprehensive benefits package. This includes:
