Sales Manager (Veterinary Sales) - Duluth/Maple Grove, MN

Position Summary As a Territory Sales Manager for our Veterinary Sales Team, you will represent Pro Plan Veterinary Diets® in the St. Cloud/Maple Grove, MN area. You will serve as the brand ambassador for our science‑backed nutrition products designed to improve the health of dogs and cats with specific dietary needs. Location St. Cloud/Maple Grove, MN Responsibilities Promote the Pro Plan Veterinary Diet® product line. Grow the Purina Veterinary business by applying innovative sales and marketing concepts to meet assigned goals. Call on existing and potential clients to create targeted, brand‑building sales and marketing programs that drive volume and achieve quantitative and qualitative sales goals. Develop and implement strategic business plans within the assigned geography. Provide a positive Purina experience by delivering top‑tier customer service through a consultative selling approach. Collaborate cross‑functionally with regional teams, distributor channels, and counterparts across the country. Identify each clinic’s business needs and leverage consumer insights and trends to support recommendations with integrity. Build and nurture relationships with key decision makers to secure active recommendations of Purina to veterinary clients. Provide nutritional pet food diet expertise to veterinarians and their staff through clinic calls, product detailings, in‑hospital trainings, and special events. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree required. 1+ year(s) of sales experience required. Other Qualifications Valid state driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and automobile insurance with the following coverage: $100,000 bodily injury liability per person; $300,000 bodily injury liability per occurrence; $50,000 property damage. Must be able to travel, including overnight, as needed to manage the assigned territory. Must have reliable transportation to service the territory. Open to relocation as part of future advancement opportunities: current residents of the territory may need to relocate, and current non‑residents must relocate upon offer acceptance. Capable of performing various physical activities, including bending, reaching, lifting up to 40 lbs, and standing or sitting for extended periods. Pay range is estimated at $80,000 to $100,000, with final compensation based on experience and location.
