IT Applications Developer

This is a 6-9 month contract position - possible extension or conversion 

Must have requirements

• Experience administrating and developing for ERP, Viewpoint Vista

- Must have technical understanding of frontend/backend features and functionalities

- Must have technical understanding of SQL Tables and Queries

• Experience in Analytics, Building Dashboards and Reporting

- Must have a technical understanding of Power BI

 

Role Summary:

IT Application Developer will develop. plan, test, implement, and validate IT system solutions that improve business efficiency and productivity as well as support business strategies and goals. This role will also identify and communicate business needs and translate business requirements into technical system and functional specifications.

 

Core Description:

1. Business Support and Development

a. Business Applications

- Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair application issues

b. Business Processes

- Evaluate, develop, test, implement, and maintain solutions to increase efficiency

c. Business Analytics 

- Design and develop reporting and analytics for better visibility into key metrics

d. Business Systems

- Assist with evaluation, develop, test, implement, and maintain of new business systems

e. Infrastructure

- Assist in planning and executing infrastructure strategy

f. Security

- Assist in planning and executing security strategy

2. Support

a. Provide escalated Support

Requirements:

• Construction Industry Experience
• Experience administering a 3rd party applications

-CRM

-LMS

• Experience administering and implementing Microsoft 365 solutions
• Experience in Azure Cloud, planning, migrating, and managing solutions
• Experience in Application, API, and integration development
• Solid understanding of planning, analysis, and testing techniques required to support an enterprise business system.
• Experience using ERP modules, technical understanding of frontend/backend features and functionalities and how they interact together is an asset

• General desktop OS knowledge (PC and Server)
