Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical or procedural sedation
• Assess and manage patient pain, airway, hemodynamic stability, and level of consciousness in the PACU setting
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and the perioperative team to ensure safe patient transitions
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by the department

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU nursing experience
• Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations as needed
• Willingness and ability to work a 13-week travel assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PACU or perioperative setting
• Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties and anesthesia recovery protocols
• Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills in a fast-paced environment
