DescriptionKforce's client, a well-respected public accounting firm, seeks a Senior Tax Manager - CPA in Stamford, CT.Summary:In this position, you will assist with client relations, provide day-to-day accounting support to a portfolio of clients, and manager engagements, prepare tax filings as well as research and planning activities. This is a unique firm that offers a balanced "Quality of Life". Public accounting experience and a CPA certification are required.Responsibilities:* Implementing and overseeing the tax plan* Performing managerial functions in the office* Prepare the required government documents concerning taxes* Ensure the accuracy of all documents* Offering solutions to pressing tax problems* Working with a diverse group of people to further the goals of the company* Accurately and efficiently managing tax reporting and planning and ensuring compliance of tax laws for the company or clientRequirements* CPA* 5+ years of public tax accounting experience* Expertise with international, domestic, state, and local tax complianceJob TypeDirect HireCompensation160000 - $180000
