Data-Based Implementation Specialist

This role supports a fast-paced implementation team by performing complex data mapping, transformation, and migration work that enables client organizations to onboard successfully onto the client's platform.

•Support implementation projects for approximately 15-16 clients actively onboarding to the platform.

•Analyze client data structures and determine how they map to the organization's internal data model.

•Perform data transformation, migration, and validation activities to onboard customer data into SQL Server.

•Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and transformation logic to support client implementations.

•Work with data originating from sources such as Excel spreadsheets, Salesforce, and proprietary applications.

•Troubleshoot data issues and resolve mapping inconsistencies between legacy systems and the platform.

•Collaborate with implementation team members and client delivery managers, participating in client meetings to understand business requirements and data challenges.

•Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of database-driven applications in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

•3-6 years of experience in a database-focused role, with a programmer mindset and hands-on implementation experience.

•Strong proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.

•Experience working with complex data models and performing data mapping across source and target systems.

•Proven data migration, transformation, and data wrangling experience, including working with messy or legacy datasets.

•Ability to translate abstract business requirements into technical database solutions.

•Experience in financial services, market data, or other data-intensive industries.

•Database application development and maintenance experience beyond standard ETL work.

•Client-facing experience gathering requirements and discussing business needs in non-technical terms.

•Familiarity with data sourced from Salesforce, Excel templates, or homegrown applications.

•Collaborative, low-ego approach with comfort working in a startup-like, horizontally structured environment.
