Senior Accountant Brentwood, TN $35.00 – $45.00 per hour Accounting & Finance About the Opportunity – Senior Accountant We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing organization in the Brentwood area. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in financial reporting, month-end close activities, and process improvement initiatives while working with a collaborative finance team. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities – Senior Accountant Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations Analyze financial results and provide insights to support business decision-making Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities Support external audits and coordinate documentation requests Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, payroll, and management teams Qualifications – Senior Accountant Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles Advanced proficiency with Excel and accounting/ERP systems Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills CPA designation or CPA-track preferred Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment preferred EB-1800543392 #J-18808-Ljbffr
