Job Responsibilities

• Position parts according to knowledge of the unit being assembled or utilize a blueprint.

• Assemble and fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners using hand tools, power tools, and air tools.

• Remove small quantities of metal to produce close fits between parts.

• Operate machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations as specified.

• Maintain a clean work area and perform basic housekeeping duties throughout the shift.

• Be open to additional roles as requested by supervisors or managers outside of typical assembly duties.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably assembly.

• Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

• Blueprint reading experience.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work orders.

• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Statesville, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
