Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The contract runs from August 12, 2025, through May 21, 2027, ensuring a stable, rewarding experience over nearly two academic years.

Key Qualifications:

• Active LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license in Texas—required
• Experience working as a school counselor or in student support roles
• Skill in providing guidance and intervention to children and adolescents
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability and organizational skills, especially in managing a mixed caseload across several campuses

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services for students in both elementary and middle school settings
• Assess student needs and develop proactive strategies for academic and emotional support
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to identify concerns and solutions
• Support crisis intervention and referrals as appropriate
• Help cultivate a positive, inclusive school culture across approximately five campuses
• Maintain detailed, confidential documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
