Local Team Collaboration: Join our close-knit team of 4 physicians and 3 APPs at Ascension Via Christi Hospital, Manhattan. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Qualifications: ABIM or ABFM certified. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with APPs. Authorized to work in the United States. This position does not sponsor J-1 and H-1 visa waivers. Scheduling: 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule with flexibility for time off. Key Responsibilities: Round on patients with admissions. Help support the hospitalist team's efforts in utilization management, compliance, clinical documentation improvement, and patient satisfaction at Ascension Via Christi Hospital, Manhattan. Collaborate with the hospitalist Director on performance improvement initiatives such as length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance. Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings. Open ICU with teleintensivists. No procedures but run codes and rapid response. Rewards and Compensation: Excellent annual compensation ranges from $354,000 to $374,000, with productivity and quality incentives. Full benefits with matching 401 (k).
