Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• 13-week contract
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float requirements to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Low census policy allows for hour increment reductions; unit typically low censuses in 4-hour increments
• 2+ years of experience required - firm requirement
• Stepdown, Intermediate Care, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator and trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry monitoring
• Patient population includes stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Patient ratio of 4:1 with primary patients and insulin drips
• Fast-paced unit requiring ability to manage independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub color: Any color

This facility is a well-established hospital offering a wide range of inpatient services across multiple units. The Intermediate Care unit consists of 36 beds and focuses on complex medical-surgical patients requiring close monitoring and specialized care. The facility supports a high-acuity patient population and maintains a fast-paced environment with access to advanced clinical resources and support services.
