We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and childhood development, with a focus on fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves working with toddlers in a private school setting, utilizing effective behavior management techniques and promoting literacy education through engaging activities. Available to work Monday through Friday between 7:15 AM and 6:30 PM with varied 9‑hour shifts. Responsibilities Develop and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of toddlers. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor and assess children's progress in various areas, including social, emotional, and cognitive development. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns related to child welfare. Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience across the curriculum. Provide individualized tutoring support as needed to help children reach their developmental milestones. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective communication. Qualifications Associates or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education. Strong understanding of childhood development theories and practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to manage classroom behavior positively while fostering an encouraging atmosphere for learning. Knowledge of literacy education strategies to promote early reading skills among young children. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth in all areas of development.
