About the Position

A respected regional medical center located just one hour northwest of Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join its dedicated Hospitalist team working nights . This is a full-time opportunity at a 355-bed acute care hospital, offering excellent compensation, flexible scheduling, and one of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the region.

Position Overview:


This role offers a consistent night shift schedule with flexibility. Shifts run from either 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM or 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and full-time status is achieved after just 15 shifts per month. Responsibilities include nightly admissions, averaging six per shift, and rounding on inpatients. No ICU coverage, procedures, or code response is required. You'll work alongside a second APP and a physician who provides ICU support and assistance as needed.

Highlights:

• 10-hour shifts, 15 shifts/month for full-time
• Average six admissions per night
• 120 average inpatient census, covered by two APPs
• No ICU responsibilities, no codes or procedures
• Work alongside a physician and fellow APP during night shifts

Compensation & Benefits:

• Option to work in an employed role or on a 1099 contract
• Quality bonuses
• 1099 Contract is a rate of $100 an hour and includes malpractice insurance but no other benefits

• Malpractice coverage for both employed and 1099 agreements

Requirements:

• Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
• Active North Carolina license (or eligibility)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a Hospitalist or Emergency Medicine setting
