Business Manager – Crisis Care

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Manager to join a growing care group as they expand into the children's crisis care market. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a new service line and build it from the ground up. You will play a key role in developing the commercial strategy, identifying opportunities, building partnerships, and establishing the foundations required to create a successful and scalable division. This role would suit an ambitious BDM, Head of Division, or senior commercial professional who has experience building new business areas and thrives in an autonomous, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and launch of the children's crisis care division
• Develop and implement a strategy for growing the new service line
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the unregulated care market
• Build relationships with commissioners, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders
• Develop partnerships and generate new revenue streams
• Establish the operational and commercial foundations for the new division
• Monitor performance, identify opportunities, and drive sustainable growth
• Work closely with senior leadership to shape the long-term direction of the service
• Build processes and infrastructure to support future expansion
• Operate autonomously while maintaining strong commercial and strategic oversight

Requirements

• Proven experience within the unregulated care market
• Strong track record of launching or growing a new division, service line, or business area
• Previous experience in business development, commercial leadership, or divisional management
• Strong understanding of the children's care/crisis care market is highly desirable
• Excellent commercial, networking, and relationship-building skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently
• Comfortable taking ownership and building something from the ground up
• Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach
