Apply today!Quality Assurance Technician Responsibilities:Provide independent oversight of processes, verifying compliance to company standards and policies, effectively communicating deviations from standards or processesMaintain a clear understanding of customer requirementsMaintain a clear understanding of Quality Assurance Programs and SOPsAdhere to all regulatory rules and regulations, ensuring that Food Safety and product performance standards are metMonitor HACCP critical control points (Product wash and Metal Detection)Run GMP InspectionsControl and enforce GMPs on Production and Storage areasCalibrate test equipment such as scales, thermometers, metal detector, pH meter and colorimeterMaintain equipment in optimal condition and report any deviation to supervisorPlace equipment and product on holdControl the concentrations of the chemicals and sanitizersVerify chemical concentrations (titrations) on a weekly basisPerform daily pre-operational inspections and pre-op ATP testingConduct leak detecting checks for each type of polybagTest finished products moisture contentPerform temperature controls of rooms and ingredientsMonitor and ensure compliance of allergen managementSchedule and execute sample submittals to external laboratory vendorMaintain accurate and organized records of QA activities following document control programEnforce color coding policyRequirements for Quality Assurance Technician:Experience in food manufacturingBilingual (English / Spanish) is a plusAble to work in cold environment, maintained between 32F and 37FPlease be prepared for our AI recruiter to ask these mandatory questions:Do you have previous experience working in food manufacturing or food production?
