Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Assistant to join our growing team in Rome, GA!

Assist in commercial lines department in order to gain technical knowledge and learn the processes and procedures of Brown & Brown. Primary duties may include general clerical functions and data entry. Other additional projects may be assigned as needed.

How You Will Contribute:

• Shadow account managers to learn the essential roles and functions of becoming an account manager.
• Process client requests timely.
• Request and process endorsements to various carriers, follow up until received and confirm the endorsements in AMS and send back to the insured.
• Assist with policy checking and delivery.
• Assist with the submission process, including claims analysis, renewal updates, updating accords, and supplemental apps.
• Assist with the preparation of proposals and account overviews.
• Assist with loss of runs, MVR orders, certificates of insurance, and evidence of property.
• Perform clerical functions including, but not limited to scanning, proofreading, and photocopying documents.
• Learn how to process AB Invoices, HUB Procedures, and familiarize yourself with the ICP team.
• Assist in the processing and collection of premiums and audits.
• Observe the renewal process, including sending renewal quotes to clients, requesting coverage bound, the close out and summary of bound procedures.
• Confirm coverage with clients as needed.
• Assist with entering data into applications as needed.
• Review, file, and assigning documents/tasks into ImageRight.
• Accessing various carrier sites to download policy docs.
• Special Projects as needed.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Willing to get a P&C State License

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
