Roxborough Memorial Hospital is a 131-bed community hospital. The hospital has been serving the medical and health care needs of the Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls and northwest section of Philadelphia communities for more than a century, having first opened its doors in 1890. Roxborough Memorial Hospitals School of Nursing has been educating nurses since 1898. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the nation's oldest and largest hospital accreditation agency. Responsibilities The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images. The CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS. Qualifications Education and Work Experience 1. One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
2. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.
3. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
4. Radiology/ CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
5. ARRT-CT Certification is required
6. Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
