Compensation

Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 per year

Location: New York, NY

Position Summary
As a Radiation Medicine Therapist within a leading hospital system, you will deliver safe and precise radiation treatments in accordance with physician directives. Working under clinical leadership, you will ensure high-quality patient care, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold strict safety and regulatory standards. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced radiation therapy technology in a structured, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

? Schedule / Shift

• Shift details: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Hours per week: 40

? Key Duties:

• Prepare and position patients for radiation treatments and operate therapy equipment to deliver prescribed doses
• Review treatment plans, charts, and prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with protocols
• Monitor patients during treatment and assess for side effects, reporting concerns to physicians
• Assist physicists with treatment planning, measurements, and dose calculations when necessary
• Maintain detailed documentation, ensure equipment safety, and support clinical and administrative operations

Requirements

? Education

• Required: Associate's degree in Radiation Medicine or equivalent from an accredited program

? Licenses & Certifications

• Required: N/A

? Skills:

• Strong analytical skills for dose calculations and identifying adverse reactions
• Excellent patient care and communication abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, physicists, and clinical staff
• Knowledge of radiation therapy equipment and treatment procedures
