Benefits PRN - $45.00 per hour field pay Full Time - 85k to 90k DOE; PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K On-call phone stipend Mileage reimbursement Insperity perks: Earned Wage Access, banking and card member discounts, cashback, and more 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratios where you have an impact Comprehensive onboarding and training Flexible scheduling with work-life balance Supportive management with career growth opportunities Responsibilities Provide hospice patient care during weekends as needs arise for our patients Enable patients to spend quality time with loved ones Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to carry out the patient’s plan of care Perform patient assessments, check vitals, evaluate breathing, monitor pain, administer prescribed medication and treatments Ensure accessibility of medical equipment, prescribed oxygen, medication and other supplies Educate family on prognosis, changes in care plan, medication and hospice goals Take a holistic approach to care that engages the patient’s mind, body, spirit and family Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license CPR certification Valid auto insurance Prior Hospice experience 2+ years Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Triaging emergent needs and collaborating with physicians to provide comfort and quality care Effective communication with medical professionals and the hospice team Why Work for Interim HealthCare Hospice?
