Job Title: RN Intermediate / Step Down Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pulmonary Thoracic Duration: Full-Time Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: Required AHA BLS & ACLS Must-Have: - NIHSS preferred - Experience with intermediate medical patients - Experience with high-risk respiratory patients - Experience with cardiac thoracic surgery - Experience with hepatobiliary surgery - Experience with head/neck surgery - Experience with patients on RA to BIPAP or Optiflow Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN for the Intermediate / Step Down unit. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of recent experience in the specialty. Required certifications include AHA BLS and ACLS. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a variety of patient populations. Candidates should also be familiar with advanced respiratory care techniques. Please note, holidays are a requirement. Candidates must work two major holidays, including Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Additionally, one minor holiday must be worked, such as Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
