Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Certification Engineer for a 1-year contract opportunity in Atlanta, GA. This on-site role is ideal for an aerospace engineering professional with strong aircraft certification experience, FAA regulatory knowledge, and hands-on documentation expertise.

The Sr. Certification Engineer will support airworthiness compliance activities, certification planning, and coordination with FAA representatives for aircraft modification and approval projects. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a highly technical aerospace and defense environment with experienced engineering teams, collaborative project leadership, and meaningful work tied to aviation safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain aircraft certification documentation, including certification plans, test plans, PSCPs, and compliance reports.
- Support STC, PMA, and airworthiness compliance activities in accordance with applicable FAR regulations.
- Coordinate with FAA DERs, DARs, and internal engineering teams to support certification approvals.
- Review engineering data, test results, and technical documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Help identify certification risks, documentation gaps, and compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support cross-functional communication between engineering, quality, regulatory, and program stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $55 to $60 per hour.
- Contract duration: 1 year.
- Work location: On-site in Atlanta, GA.
