Key Responsibilities Teach high school Biology courses aligned with New Jersey state standards. Develop engaging lesson plans incorporating laboratory investigations and technology. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs. Assess student performance through formative and summative assessments. Maintain a safe and effective science laboratory environment. Foster critical thinking, collaboration, and scientific communication skills. Integrate educational technology into daily instruction. Maintain accurate grades, attendance, and student records. Communicate effectively with parents, administrators, and support staff. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Science Education, or a related field. Valid New Jersey Teacher of Biology Certification (Required). Previous high school Biology teaching experience preferred. Strong knowledge of Biology curriculum and laboratory instruction. Experience developing standards‑based lesson plans and assessments. Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to integrate instructional technology into teaching.
