Description

• Assess patients from pediatric to geriatric age groups utilizing a mix of standardized assessments and clinical observations.
• Create individualized treatment plans that align with patients' immediate objectives and broader communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Deliver tailored speech therapy sessions that focus on language, voice, fluency, and swallowing issues.
• Engage collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families, to implement integrated care plans.
• Provide educational resources for patients and families to encourage progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Conduct evaluations and interventions in an occasional inpatient setting, ensuring seamless care throughout recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously and in a timely manner, adhering to all federal, state, and organizational regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements through ongoing education and teamwork.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of onboarding.
