Assistant StorekeeperThe Western Sugar Cooperative has a challenging opportunity for an Assistant Storekeeper. This position is responsible for all aspects of material inventory management and control for the factory, warehouse and Ag departments. The Assistant Storekeeper reports to the Maintenance Manager.Essential FunctionsBe a safety leader with solid safety behaviors and demonstrated leadershipChemical inventory and ordersUnload orders from vendor trucksGeneral Storeroom functions – purchasing, purchase orders, work orders, inventory, min/max levels and consumablesReceive parts and materials into SAPStock parts and materialsOther duties as assignedSkill & Experience RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredExcellent computer competence (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Good Math skills, with at least a basic understanding of accounting principlesMust be able to handle several priorities at one timeWork well with others – at all levels and in all capacities throughout the organizationAbility to multi-task and perform multiple functions necessary to the smooth operation of the storeroomBe able to walk, stand, climb stairs/ladders, etc.Be able to up to lift 50# on occasionAble to be forklift certifiedSolid leadership and influencing skillsFriendly, results oriented, and collaborativeUp to 0% travel required.
