Overview POLICY MANAGER, Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), to contribute to its mission of promoting evidence-informed policy as part of J-PAL’s Leadership, Policy & Communications team. This diverse and integrated group works in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with the goal of equipping policymakers, researchers, and staff with the knowledge to conduct rigorous impact evaluations. The Policy & Communications Group translates research by J-PAL affiliates into actionable poverty alleviation policies around the world. Staff connect economics and policy and form partnerships for evidence-informed development policy. Qualifications A Master’s degree in economics, public policy, or a closely related field, with coursework in microeconomics, econometrics, and development economics. Six or more years of relevant and substantial professional experience, including at least 1 year of experience working in a developing country; experience gained during schooling may count toward this requirement.
