Job Description

Pay range is $23.60 - $29.30 / hour based on experience. Ready to be the maestro of our nursing schedule symphony? Here's what you'll be orchestrating in this exciting role:

• Become the scheduling wizard! Conjure up daily, weekly, on-call, weekend, and holiday nursing schedules that'll make everyone say "Wow!"
• Play detective with attendance records. Can you spot the pattern?
• Keep our nursing forms fresh and fabulous. Order new ones when needed – it's like shopping, but for work!
• Embrace your inner data dynamo with some fun clerical tasks. Spreadsheets have never been so thrilling!
• Be the superhero of shift swaps! Manage vacation requests like a pro, with a little help from your sidekick, the DON.
• Channel your inner diplomat and keep the lines of communication buzzing with the Director of Nursing. No secret agent skills required, but they might help!
• Put on your problem-solving cape and swoop in to resolve minor complaints. It's like being a customer service ninja!
• Become the time and attendance guru. Approve those timesheets with the precision of a Swiss watch!
• Be ready for surprise missions – other duties may pop up when you least expect them. Embrace the adventure!

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications & Experience

• Education High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of proven scheduling experience in a healthcare environment Requires broad knowledge of healthcare operations, including medical terminology, compressed workweeks, shift differentials, and wage and hour laws.
• Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, Time and Attendance Payroll system
• Must be proficient in basic business math
• Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.
• Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently during working hours.
• Is subject to frequent interruptions.
• Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently.
