Job Summary:
The dump truck driver owner-operator for Pile 'Em Up Hauling Service is a highly appreciated member of the team! As an elite member of our team, you would utilize your owner-operator status to focus solely on hauling materials without having to search for work!
Location:
Greater Mecklenburg County and surrounding areas
Responsibilities:
- Ability to operate a dump truck and pick up materials from various jobs
- Follow specific routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating dump truck
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules
- Follow company safety procedures to ensure safe delivery of materials
Qualifications:
- Owner-operator of your own dump truck
- Valid and current vehicle insurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) class A or B with a clean driving record
- Experience operating dump trucks (at least 2 years' experience)
- Knowledge of construction site safety and road safety regulations
- Great time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Successfully pass the DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend shift
