Job Summary:
Emergency Room Pediatric (ER PEDS) nurse position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized pediatric emergency care in a dynamic environment. The position requires a dedicated professional with relevant pediatric experience and trauma skills to deliver exceptional patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift with 12 hours shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1.0 year of experience in Pediatric Emergency Department (PEDs ED) with at least 6 months of triage and trauma experience. Required certifications include TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in general pediatric emergency care, mental health, and trauma. Triage experience required.
• Additional Information: The position supports a pediatric emergency department with a bed capacity of 35, including 21 floors for emergency room care and additional space for fast tracks and surgical suite. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:3 for standard acuity and 1:6 for lower acuity patients. Tech to patient ratio is 1:8. Support staff available 24/7. EMR system used is Epic. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/05/2026 and end on 02/06/2027.
